7Normally, you can only cancel events to which guests got free tickets. For events to which you already got free ticket orders, you must first cancel the orders for the tickets (you must also cancel any trial orders you made yourself) inside the “my orders” area, and then you can unpublish and eliminate your event.
If you need to cancel an event to which you sold paid tickets, you need to send a request to Metooo, so we can evaluate your reasons.
This way we can prevent abuses and protect the end users of the Metooo events, given that it is not possible for us to refund ticket purchases in case of issues, since the transaction is made directly between buyer and event organizer.
Remember, commissions on paid tickets are non refundable if your event is canceled, no matter the reason for the cancellation.
